江苏省苏州艺术高级中学校(苏州市第六中学校)始建于1940年，是国家级示范性普通高中，江苏省首批四星级普通高中，江苏省唯一一所省级艺术特色高中，学校于1992年创办艺术特色教育以来，追求艺术教育的高质量、学生艺术人生的高品位，培养了多位享誉中外的优秀艺术人才。

苏州市第六中学将国际化作为学校发展的重要战略之一，在此框架下，国际部的设立为全面助推学校艺术教育高质量发展提供了新动能。在2024年，开设AP和A-Level课程，2025年新增中日选修方向课程。

有原国际艺术课程项目(又称苏州六中国际部)是苏州市首个纳入中招计划的公办国际艺术高中课程，立足六中的艺术教育特色，以国内高中基础教育课程为本，融合国际高中艺术课程，共同培养具有中国根基、国际视野和全球胜任力的优秀艺术人才。

Suzhou No. 6 High School, founded in 1940, is a National Model Senior High School, one of the first Four-Star Senior High Schools in Jiangsu Province, and the only provincial-level senior high school with a specialization in the arts in Jiangsu Province. Since initiating its arts-focused education program in 1992, the school has strived for high-quality arts education and the cultivation of refined artistic taste among its students, nurturing numerous outstanding artistic talents who have gained acclaim both domestically and internationally.  

The International Department of Suzhou No. 6 High School (featuring the Youyuan International Art Curriculum Program) was established in 2024 and is affiliated with Suzhou No. 6 High School. The establishment of the International Department has provided new momentum for comprehensively enhancing the high-quality development of art education at Suzhou No. 6 High School. In 2024, the International Department launched AP and A-level courses, and in 2025, it added a Chinese-Japanese curriculum.

The Youyuan International Art Curriculum Program is the first public international art high school program in Suzhou to be included in the city’s high school enrollment plan. Rooted in the artistic education strengths of Suzhou No. 6 High School, the program is based on China’s national high school core curriculum while integrating international high school art courses. It aims to cultivate outstanding artistic talents with a Chinese foundation, a global perspective, and global competence.
