千万次感谢你！——爱尔兰天主教会学院学生留言六中

    3月18日，我校再次迎来了交流学习的爱尔兰天主教会学院高中部的4名学生！
    柔软波浪的头发，闪烁的大眼睛，甜甜的笑容——在美好的阳春三月，绽放芳菲的四月天里，4位学生跟随我校高一年级的学生一起体验了23天的“中国苏式”日常生活！

    和大家一起早读，读书、学传统文化，课间一起玩耍，学击剑，一起上美术课，还遇到了美术风景外出写生！我们一起背起画箱，愉快的出发啦，西山明月湾的民俗风景也是一番小惊艳！

    亲切可人的美术老师与四位异国他乡的学生一起画画，看他们拿起大刷子，激情的涂抹色彩，还真是让人欢喜点赞，看他们画的人物、风景，还有小动物，是不是很专业，也很可爱？看，在明月湾一起写生时，两位美女老师一起辅导哦，有乌克兰美女老师的艺术绘画交流，一起看风景，画房舍，欣赏小动物，一起赏“春雨”……难忘的镜头在你我的心头永驻啦！

    临别之际，四位爱尔兰同学一一用心给学校书写留言：中国苏州，我来过，千万次感谢你——六中！

Sean:
    The family I got to stay with were more than perfect, theywere extremely welcoming and took care of me superbly. My host student couldn’t have been any nicer, he talked to me and he was more than happy to explain all about Chinese culture and he particularly enjoyed trying to teach me Chinesewords.
    The school was amazing, I really enjoyed the art classes.
    They were very helpful and taught me loads of new techniques. The students were friendly and helpful. Brandy was amazing, she was so kind, funny and also very good at helping us with art, I can’t thank her enough for all she has done on the art side of the trip. Flora made sure we were ok and that we knew what was planed. Also the other teachers in the school were very friendly and welcoming.

Luke:
    I had an incredible time in china. The food was amazing.Ididn’t expect it to be so nice. The people are so welcoming and friendly, some of the girls gave us some of their paper and organised our lunch for us one day. The family were very nice and they were all trying their best to make me feel welcome which I did. Brandy was such a good teacher who gave us lots of tips and I learned lots of new techniques. Overall I think this trip was one of the best I’ve ever been on.

Evan:
    I would just like to say overall the exchange has thoughtmeso so much . I can’t thank all of the staff and students enough , especially Flora and Brandy. Who were so helpful. 
    The exchange allowed us to learn so much about Chinese culture and art. I am so grateful that i could experience all of this in such a friendly and welcoming environment likethe Suzhou art college. So many wonderful experiences and lessons were organised very well for us and it was amazing to be so fully immersed in China’s atmosphere.
    I would also like to thank my host student and his family for making this experience even more amazing.They went out of their way to make sure i was always happy and enjoying myself. They made it a point to organise lots of activities for me and I never felt unwelcome. 
    Overall the trip helped me learn so much and i can’t thank everyone enough for it :)

Fionn:
    My experience in Sozhou has been nothing short of awesome. The hosting family we’re so kind and thoughtful, always thinking about my comfort.  There cooking was amazing. Itriedfoods that was so unique. For this I thank my hosting family.
    My Experience in the school was also amazing. I got to practiced my art skills so much. I met new people, most were also were kind always offering a helping hand. I can’t stress how brilliant Brandy, she went out of her way for us. She was always thinking about us. So thank you will all my heart.
    A big thank you to Flora for everything she did, I couldn’t have asked for more.
Finally thank you everyone in the school for giving me this opportunity and experience, it was mind blowing. Thank you a thousand times.
